The referees are not always right. Their decision not to whistle a contact from Paul George on Kelly Oubre at the last second of the game between the Sixers and Clippers was wrong. The officials themselves recognized this after the success of the Californian franchise (107-108). A decisive choice for the outcome of the meeting, because Oubre was well on his way to scoring the victorious basket for Philadelphia.

This decision could have serious consequences for the Philadelphia Sixers, who thus miss the opportunity to return to 7th place in the Eastern Conference. They remain two victories from 6th place, occupied by the Pacers and directly qualifying for the play-offs. Pennsylvanians will have to console themselves with the news of a return by the end of the regular season of Joel Embiid, injured in a knee.
