Over 62,000 people gathered in Piazza Duomo to take part in the 51st edition of Stramilano 2024, a festive blue wave that filled the streets of the centre. At 9.30 am the traditional shot of the Historic Cannon of the Horse Artillery Regiment – fired by Jessica Brugali, radio presenter and godmother of this edition, and by the Councilor for Sport, Tourism and Youth Policies Martina Riva – and the show of the Army Fanfares and the Carabinieri marked the start of the 10 km.
This year, for the first time, 4-legged runners were also protagonists, having the opportunity to join their owners along the route and rest in the refreshment points dedicated to them
