The state of Querétaro was named by the National Sports Commission as the venue for the Regional and Macro Regional qualifiers towards the CONADE 2024 Nationals. There will be four disciplines that will be held in different parts of the city starting in March and April, where different entities of the republic will be presented depending on the qualifier.
Heading towards the highest national sports event of the year, more than a thousand athletes from different parts of the country will fight for a ticket to the competition that will be held starting in the month of May. The disciplines that will be held are, in the Regional stage: judo and taekwondo; in Macro Regional: table tennis and associated fights.
It will be from this month of March and April when the qualifiers begin. The table tennis discipline will be the first to start with its Regional stage from March 15 to 17; Taekwondo at the same stage will be held on March 16 and 17. The Macro Regionals of associated fights will be from April 8 to 11, and to conclude, the Macro Regionals of judo will be held from April 13 to 14.
Each of the disciplines will have different categories within its competencies; In judo there will be: schoolchildren, cadets and youth. For the others, the age range of the athlete is considered; in fighting: 10-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-20; taekwondo: 13-14, 15-17, 18-20; judo: 11-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-21 in tennis. The winners of their categories will be chosen to represent their entities in the last official call.
There will be the participation of representatives from Mexico City, State of Mexico, Guerrero, Morelos in Regionals; in addition to Michoacán, Morelos, Nayarit, Jalisco and Aguascalientes in Macro Regionals. The competitions will be held in two locations in the city of Querétaro, the Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez Auditorium and in the Multifunctional Auditorium of the Racquet Center within the Querétaro 2000 Park.
The CONADE 2024 Nationals are just a few months away from starting, it has already been announced that Jalisco will be the main venue for this edition, in addition to the sub-venues that will receive some specific disciplines, such as Campeche, Mexico City and Colima.
