Plock-PSG Handball: at what time and on which channel to follow the Champions League play-off first leg?

In 2023, the Parisians reached the semi-finals of the Champions League before being eliminated by the Poles of Kielce. This year, PSG Handball must go through the play-off against another Polish club, Wisla Plock.

In an ultra-tight group stage, Raúl González Gutiérrez’s men were unable to finish in the first two places, directly qualifying for the quarter-finals of the competition. Group A was dominated by Kiel and Aalborg ahead of… PSG.

Two years ago, the Parisians had already had to play a play-off against the Norwegians from Elverum. Qualified for the quarters, they fell against the Germans from Kiel before taking their revenge at the same stage of the competition last year.

In the championship, PSG still flies above the competition, undefeated after 21 matches. Since their last Champions League match, the Parisians have won against Chambéry and Limoges in the Starligue with between the two qualifying for the Coupe de France final with a taste of revenge against Montpellier.

In the event of qualification after the return match, scheduled for April 4 in Paris, PSG handball will find Barcelona, which finished second in Group B of the Champions League behind defending champion Magdeburg.

The first leg of the Champions League play-off between PSG handball and Wisla Plock can be followed this Thursday March 28 at 8:30 p.m. on Eurosport 2.
