Church services. On Good Friday, March 29th, Christians commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and on Easter Sunday, March 31st, they celebrate his resurrection. Numerous church services also take place. They begin on Maundy Thursday, March 28th, with Communion devotions and reach their climax on the Easter Vigil and on Easter morning with masses that begin at 6 a.m. In Lübars, for example, the resurrection celebration is combined with an Easter bonfire in the parish garden of the Evangelical Church Community, Alt-Lübars 24. Easter sports. “Clash at the Capital” is the name of a baseball tournament that will be held on Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday, March 30th and 31st in Flamingo Park on Königshorster Straße. Six U15 baseball teams from different countries meet each other. One team is made up of young talent from various clubs in Berlin and Brandenburg. They are also supported by players from Austria, Spain and Italy. Your opponents come from Denmark, the Czech Republic, Poland, the Netherlands and the Taunus Baseball Academy team.
