In Bollate (MI) it was the debut on the field for the little Under8s of Piacenza Baseball and it must be recognized that there was no shortage of encouraging signs. After a winter of indoor events we moved from parquet to red clay, in a dimension certainly more suited to “real” baseball. The beginners on whom Davide Bertonazzi and Francesca Contini are working have, as always, shown great enthusiasm, caring, and it couldn’t be otherwise, more about having fun than paying attention to the results. And to say that even from this point of view things didn’t go badly with a victory (9-8) and a defeat (7-9) against two Lombardy selections. Piacenza Baseball will participate in the western Emilian championship from April, the calendar of which is imminent.
