PGA Tour, Arnold Palmer Invitational Pavon relapses, a duo in the lead

During the night from Saturday to Sunday, the third round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the fourth “signature” tournament of the season, ended in Orlando, Florida. Matthieu Pavon had a complicated day and fell back in the rankings. At the top, Shane Lowry and Scottie Scheffler lead the way.

With this score of 76, Matthieu Pavon is now in 44th place (+2 total). At the top of the rankings, Scottie Scheffler, author of a solid record of 70 (six birdies, four bogeys), seemed well on his way to taking solo control (-9 total) after 54 holes. That was without counting on the great finish from Shane Lowry. Indeed, the Irishman made two birdies at 16 and 17 (six in total) to complete the Bay Hill course in 70 strokes (four bogeys) and also climb into the leader’s chair.
