This incident started with a violation committed by Persikabo goalkeeper, Syahrul Trisna, against Silva in the penalty box.

Despite benefiting from the referee’s sending off of Persib midfielder, Dedi Kusnandar, in the 36th minute, Persikabo was unable to take advantage of the situation.

They instead lost two additional goals scored by Stefano Beltrame in the 57th minute and David da Silva in the 65th minute. Persikabo’s consolation goal came from Yandi Sofyan in the 86th minute.

Persikabo coach, Djadjang Nurdjaman alias Djanur, expressed his disappointment even though his team showed a good and dominant game.

“We did perform well in possession of the ball, but the final score showed that we lost 1-3. I congratulate Persib on their victory. The initial goal from the penalty really affected us,” said Djanur.
