The Oberpfalz open-air museum in Neusath near Nabburg is starting the new season and this time it’s going to be animal-related: on the opening day on Saturday (16/03) the new special exhibition will be presented: under the motto “Humans and their livestock are useful for animals” it will focus on livestock farming Country past, present and future in focus. On Saturday, tour guides will also introduce visitors to the museum’s animal inhabitants, including old breeds of domestic animals. The topic of farm animals will be reflected in many other open-air museum events this year.
