Leon Draisaitl is currently unstoppable. His 38th goal of the season helped end a short dry spell. And the first NHL team is definitely in the playoffs.
National ice hockey player Leon Draisaitl scored in the fifth NHL game in a row and won with the Edmonton Oilers against the Winnipeg Jets. His team won 4:3 after extra time, Draisaitl equalized to make it 1:1. The Cologne player now has 38 goals this season. For the Oilers it was a turnaround after two recent defeats and another step towards playoff qualification.
The Detroit Red Wings around Moritz Seider suffered a setback in their efforts to participate in the playoffs. The score against the Washington Capitals was 3:4 after extra time. The New York Rangers, on the other hand, are the first NHL team to be guaranteed a place in the playoffs with a 6-5 win after overtime against the Philadelphia Flyers.
