It took quite some time – complete with controversy, the Region’s public notice is from August 2021 to give an idea – but in the end there is technical approval of the executive project. News for the adaptation and construction of a new building serving the federal archery structure in via del Centenario: on Thursday the director of public works Piero Giorgini signed the decision for the green light. Regional funds are linked to water fees and the definitive one had received the OK last June 29th for an overall economic framework of 400 thousand euros.

We are talking about a total contractual amount of 284 thousand euros, 266 thousand of which are subject to reduction during the tender phase. Fitarco sent the executive project to the Municipality last Tuesday: the temporary group of professionals made up of architects Pierfrancesco Duranti, Alessandro Almadori, Giuseppe Andreoli, Barbara Bagaglia, Riccardo Proietti worked on it – in general, even on the preliminary stage. , Silvano Gismondi and the industrial expert Fabio Bolli. The demolition of the current 80 square meter prefabricated building is planned, therefore a double phase of intervention: the first of over 150 square meters for bathrooms, warehouse, bar area and changing rooms, the second for a further 110 square meters linked to accommodation spaces for athletes, even otherwise skilled. Stefano Tombesi, president of the Archers city of Terni, will be following the process in particular.

The restyling – we read in the project document – is mainly attributable to «the construction of a new building intended to host national athletes for training periods or competitions with a refectory and rooms, all achieved through the demolition of the old building used as changing rooms and meeting room”. The extraordinary maintenance concerns the shooting range (it will be equipped with a new platform) and the winter shooting gym. The initial lot will concern the construction of the first floor of the new structure (modular in steel, the next «potential» the second floor.
