Netflix Presents Historic Tennis Match: Carlos Alcaraz vs Rafael Nadal in Las Vegas on March 3rd

Las Vegas will be the world capital of tennis this Sunday, March 3 with the historic match promoted by the Netflix platform and starring Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal. It will be the fourth confrontation between the two. The Balearic Islands dominate by two victories to one.

The two standard bearers of Spanish tennis will fill the 12,000 seats at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas for an evening that will go down in history for being the first that Netflix broadcasts live for its subscribers.

The match will have a two-set format and a super ‘tie break’ in case it is necessary. Both Nadal and Alcaraz settled in on Friday afternoon at the hotel Nevada City Delano and this Saturday they will have their first public appearance alongside Andre Agassi, who will be the master of ceremonies.

Feli and Ferrer, live

The broadcast of the match in Spanish will have Feliciano López and David Ferrer as voices. The fratricidal duel will begin at 10:00 p.m. in Spain, 1:00 p.m. on Sunday in Las Vegas. Before there will be a doubles match between Asia Muhammad and Bob Bryan against Genie Bouchard and Mike Bryan.

Nadal and Alcaraz will do private classes with fans on Sunday morning before the event. Next week both will be in Indian Wells to participate in the first Masters 1000 on the calendar.

The 22 major champion has not played a match since he was injured in the Brisbane quarterfinals with Jordan Thompson on January 5. For his part, Carlitos has just suffered a grade 2 sprain in his debut in Rio de Janeiro with local Thiago Monteiro.
