The DFB has announced the shirt numbers for the European Championship tests in France and against the Netherlands. The number 10 will be redistributed, the number 1 will not be redistributed after the Neuer failure.

Even after Manuel Neuer’s loss, his representative Marc-André ter Stegen does not receive the number 1 jersey in the national soccer team.

As can be seen from the list published by the German Football Association, the FC Barcelona goalkeeper will be number 22 in the European Championship test matches on Saturday (9 p.m./ZDF) in France and on Tuesday (8.45 p.m./RTL) against the Netherlands have shirt.

There is no longer a number 1 in the current squad after Neuer’s departure. Bernd Leno has 12, Oliver Baumann has 24. Neuer had to leave on Wednesday due to a torn muscle fiber and is out of both important preparation games for the home European Championship. National coach Julian Nagelsmann appointed ter Stegen as a substitute.

The symbolic change in the shirt numbers is 10 for Jamal Musiala. The young star from FC Bayern Munich previously had the number 14 on his DFB dress. Returnee Toni Kroos gets the 8 back that Leon Goretzka last wore, who was not nominated by Nagelsmann. England professional Pascal Groß takes over number 5 from Mats Hummels, who was also not taken into account.
