Monaco defies PSG in a draw

Third-placed AS Monaco took a point from leaders Paris St. Germain in the big game of the French Ligue 1. The team of Vorarlberg coach Adi Hütter fought to a goalless draw in front of their own audience at the start of the 24th round on Friday evening. The two teams are further separated by 13 points. Series continued for both teams.

PSG is now 19 league games undefeated and has not lost since September 15, 2023. On the other hand, Monaco’s winless home streak increased to five games in front of a sold-out crowd of 18,523, with three defeats and two draws. There was something countable against the leader for the first time this season after they lost 2:5 away. Star striker Kylian Mbappe was replaced by the guests at halftime.
