Mexican goalkeeper Ángela Ruiz will celebrate her 18th birthday next July 28a date that will be doubly special because it will also be competing its first Olympic Games in Paris 2024 in search of a medal in the test women’s team archery next to Alejandra Valencia and Ana Paula Vázquez.
“It’s a very strong team and you could say that we are the ‘Dream Team‘, the three of us know it, and the three of us have the same goal which is a medal for the country and we are going to achieve it, yes there is that synergy on and off the field and that is also very important,” said Ángela Ruiz in an interview with Claro Sports.
“I will have my birthday that day and it will be fabulous. The preparation was since I returned from the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.
“I focused on working techniquemodify some things to be able to improve and being able to maintain myself better throughout the year, little by little it was achieved,” explained the goalkeeper.
FUTURE
Ángela Ruiz will have four preparation events leading up to her Olympic debut in Paris 2024 archery, where she aspires to win her first Olympic medal.
His achievements include a world team bronze, gold and silver at the World Cups in Colombia and Turkey, as well as medals at the Central American and Pan American Games.

“I am going to continue working on my individual confidence. I want to improve more this year, I want to reach more finals this year, now I want to give it my all in Paris 2024. It looks very good, I know I’m going to enjoy it, I want to enjoy it to the fullest and get the best out of it and use it for future years and Olympic cycles,” she pointed out.
