After five days of competitions, the Mexican Olympic Committee (COM) announced the Archery selection for Paris 2024.

The National Center for the Development of Sports Talents and High Performance (CNAR) received the athletes who, over five days, competed for a place at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The selective women’s recurve bow shooting is made up of Alejandra Valencia Trujillo, Ana Paula Vazquez Flores and Angela Ruiz Rosales. While in the youth are Matthias Grande Kalionchiz, Carlos Javier Rojas Lopez and Bruno Martinez Wing.

At the CNAR, 12 athletes who fought for their Olympic place gathered, names of which Aída Román Arroyo, Luis Álvarez Murillo and Mariana Avitia Martínez stand out; However, only six obtained the classification.

These half-dozen athletes will not only travel to the City of Light to represent Mexico, but will also shoot their arrows for the country’s commitments prior to the great event.

This week the preparation concentrations for the Medellín Pan American Championship began, from April 7 to 14; the World Cup Series, which also begins in April and, finally, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, from July 26 to August 11.

While they are already classified for the summer competition; They will have the Pan American in Medellín, the World Cup in Turkey and the International Federation (World Archery) ranking route to achieve the team place.
