After its outstanding performance at the Berlin 2023 World Championship, where it obtained four medals and places for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Mexican archery team began its journey in the fourth stage of the World Cup series, to be held in the French capital, from August 15 to 20.

The national representative appears in this competition only a few days after his feat in German territory, where he achieved his best World Cup performance in history, thanks to the three silver medals and one bronze medal achieved.

A total of eight recurve bow specialists and eight compound bow specialists will represent Mexico on the penultimate date of the prestigious 2023 series, which will conclude next month with the World Cup that will take place in Hermosillo, Sonora.

Alejandra Valencia Trujillo, recently consecrated runner-up in the world and Olympic medalist, leads the legion of Aztec archers who will shoot with the objective of adding the greatest number of points possible for the world ranking of both branches and modalities, individually and also by teams.
