“Mental click”, first victories and “pride”: Cyprien Sarrazin’s incredible season

In just a few months, he became the new leader of the Blues, the new headliner of French skiing. While fans of the circuit were scrutinizing the debut of Alexis Pinturault in speed events, they discovered Cyprien Sarrazin. The skier from the Hautes-Alpes, as much a “poet” as a “joke” as those close to him say, had an exceptional winter with 4 World Cup victories, including two on the legendary Kitzbühel (Austria) descent.

He was even very close to winning the small downhill globe, but was unable to defend his chances on Sunday due to the cancellation of the last race in Saalbach (Austria). On a media tour in Paris, the Frenchman welcomed us with a few colleagues in the Rossignol boutique, one of his sponsors, on Boulevard Saint-Germain (Paris VI), to look back on the highlights of his season. Calm, collected and “proud” of what he accomplished this winter.
