Rodrygo, Mendy and Courtois return to a list of those called up to travel to Munich

MADRID, 28 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The returns of forward Rodrygo Goes and defender Ferland Mendy are the main new additions to Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, Real Madrid coach, to face Bayern Munich this Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals, while goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and defender David Alaba also travel.

Neither the Brazilian, due to a flu condition, nor the Frenchman, who was very muscular since the second leg of the quarterfinals against Manchester City, were at the Reale Arena last Friday in the duel against Real Sociedad, but they already seem recovered for the visit to the Allianz Arena.

In addition, the Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has also entered the squad, who will form the trio of goalkeepers along with Andrey Lunin and Kepa Arrizabalaga. Ancelotti already said that he was recovered from the meniscus tear that he suffered in March when he had completed his recovery from his serious knee injury last summer and that he could have minutes against Cádiz next Saturday.

The other injured player, the Austrian David Alaba, also travels to his old city, while Dani Carvajal, who cannot play in this first leg due to suspension, will also travel with the rest of the team.

The complete list is made up of Courtois, Lunin and Kepa as goalkeepers, Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Nacho, Lucas Vázquez, Fran García, Rüdiger and Mendy as defenders, Bellingham, Kroos, Modric, Camavinga, Valverde, Tchouameni, Ceballos and Arda Güler as midfielders, and Vinícius Jr, Rodrygo, Joselu and Brahim as forwards.
