On Saturday 23 March the “Marvasi” Memorial returns to field 3 of the “Notari” sports center of the “Quadrifoglio” complex, now in its second edition reserved for the A1 softball series.
Old Parma, Bertazzoni Collecchio and Blue Girls Pianoro Bologna will participate in the event, organized by the Oltretorrente baseball and softball group. The tournament program sees the first match starting at 12.30pm between Collecchio and Old Parma, the second match between Blue Girls Pianoro and Collecchio at 2.30pm and the third match at 4.30pm between Old Parma and Blue Girls Pianoro. At approximately 6.30pm on the same field, the teams’ awards ceremony. Marvasi was an entrepreneur and sports enthusiast. Since 1993 he has sponsored the Oltretorrente baseball and softball group with his company “Ciemme”. Great passion for Parma football, member of the Veterans of Sport and driving force of the Aquila Longhi Club in Vicolo Santa Maria, promoter of various initiatives also with the Bardi Valceno Lions Club.
The Marvasi Memorial will be divided into two other tournaments, reserved for the Serie A baseball and the Under 12 baseball category. For Serie A on 6 and 7 April at the “Nino Cavalli” in Parma, challenges between Parmaclima and Ciemme Oltretorrente on 6 April at 3.30pm, Sunday 7th at 11am Modena – Ciemme, at 3pm Parmaclima – Modena and at around 5.30pm awards ceremony of the teams. As regards the Under 12s, the calendar includes matches between “Legnani Corradi Vecchi” Oltretorrente and Sala Baganza on April 7th on field 2 of the “Notari” at 10am, at 12.30pm Sala Baganza – Modena, at 3pm Modena – Oltretorrente with the team awards ceremony at around 5.30pm at the “Cavalli”.
