Real Madrid forward Mario Hezonja was chosen ‘Best player’ of matchday 31 of the Euroleague, after leading the whites’ victory over Partizan (76-88).
The Croatian emerged MVP with his brilliant performance on Thursday at the Stark Arena, where Madrid certified its presence in the playoffs as first seed. Hezonja achieved 25 points, a 5/6 shooting from three, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and a PIR of 33 in 31:45 minutes of play.
The forward teamed up with Facundo Campazzo to end Partizan’s resistance in the third quarter. Hezonja once again demonstrated his great form, which in the Euroleague already awarded him the MVP last December. In the 30 games he has played to date, he averages 13.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 13.4 efficiency in 22:25 minutes.
