Despite the uncertain weather on Saturday March 23, 2024, nearly 300 Luynois gathered for the traditional carnival organized by the Cartable et sac’ado parents’ association and the town hall’s youth service on the theme of a thousand and one nights.
The families, adorned with ingenious disguises, gathered at the swimming pool before strolling to Les Varennes. A break at the halls allowed gourmets to enjoy drinks, popcorn and cotton candy offered by the dynamic association as well as pancakes made on site by the ASL judo section.
A carnival which this year did not lack genius, since at the end an Aladdin’s lamp was burned in place of the traditional carnival man.
