Successful start to the martial arts season for the local judokas. Three Neusiedler clubs traveled to Jennersdorf for the spring school cup (U10, U12, U14) and were able to fight their way onto the podium 17 times. A total of almost 100 starters from eight Burgenland clubs took part.
The JC “Vila Vita Pannonia” Wallern was represented at this tournament with a total of six judokas in different age and weight classes. Paula Nyikos won two gold medals, while Aron Mayerhofer and Emma Denk also took first place. The silver medal was captured by Jamie Horvath, Andreas Leurer and Sophie Schneider. Another highlight was the honoring of Claudia Loos. She received the Silver Medal of Honor from the Judo Regional Association of Burgenland from Judo State President Roland Poiger for her great successes at the Veterans World and European Championships.

Three first places for the Pfeffer Academy
The Pfeffer Martial Arts Academy from Neusiedl and Parndorf was also able to boast. Under the leadership of coach Werner Pfeffer, the judo kids showed their skills and secured a total of three first places (Henrik Pauzenberger, Maximilian Jellenigg, Emma Herczeg), one second place (Aliz Öcsi) and two third places (Verona Svoboda, Isabel Varga). .
The Dragonfighters from Bruckneudorf also couldn’t be missing from the tournament in Jennersdorf. The five fighters, who were trained by Claudia and Oliver Haider, brought home one gold (Petar Pavlovic), two silver (Sarah Breinsberger-Remesch, Linus Haider) and one bronze (Lion Haider).
