Qualified this season in C1, the Lensois want to return to the biggest club competition for the 2024/2025 financial year. After a failed start to the season, the Lensois began a slow but sure comeback. From now on, they are better placed to look for a European place, but they will not be satisfied with the C4 or the C3. Recently, they have alternated between the good and the not so good. By beating OL in good form 3-0, then winning 1-0 against second-placed Brest, they did well. But they also suffered disappointments against Nice and Monaco, two Champions League candidates. In this final sprint, they can no longer afford to lose “6-point matches”. So this evening in Lille, it’s victory or nothing.
