The composition of the Blues: Thuram preferred to Giroud, Zaire-Emery and Samba holders
As expected, Didier Deschamps opted for Thuram at the forefront of his 4-3-3. Preferred over Giroud, Thuram is surrounded by Dembélé and Mbappé. Zaire-Emery starts in midfield, while Pavard and Upamecano are associated in the central hinge. Samba makes up for Maignan’s loss in the cage.
