For its part, LOSC is undefeated in the league for three matches after its victory in Reims and its draws against Rennes and Brest. Above all, the Dogues have with them Jonathan David in very good form, author of seven goals in the last five meetings.

In the first leg, Lens and Lille shared a draw (1-1) at Bollaert after goals from Benjamin André and Driver Machado. Since then, the Sang et Or have been eliminated from the Champions League then by Friborg in the Europa League play-offs.
