Lee So-hee and Baek Hana Clinch Gold at All England Open

The pair of Lee So-hee and Baek Hana, who won the silver medal in the badminton women’s doubles at the Hangzhou Asian Games, reached the top at the All England Open.

World No. 2 Lee So-hee and Baek Hana defeated Japan’s Nami Matsuyama and Haru Shida with a set score of 2-1 in the All England Open final held in Birmingham, England.

Korean badminton won the gold medal for two consecutive years at the All England Open, the world’s oldest and most prestigious badminton competition.

Ahn Se-young, the women’s singles champion last year, suffered a thigh injury in the semifinals and lost 2-1 to Japan’s Yamaguchi.
