From then on, everything came down to the fifth set which was like the match, a knife fight. If Conflans had entered this final set better (10-13), the Cloharsiens finished the best by going back to 13-13 before concluding on their third match point (17-15).
“Hard for the coach”
At home, the Cloharsiens experienced one of the best matches of their season. “The last set was a bit of a coin toss but we managed to reverse the trend at the end of the set, it was very hard for the coach,” smiled Didier Lawson, very happy with this suspenseful end to the match which turned to the favor of its players. “It’s the kind of match that we like to play with rhythm, we were able to offer a clean and well-regulated offensive and defensive game.” With confidence, KAVB hopes to continue at this pace until the end of the season.
