The 2024 edition of the tournament, organized by the Pechbonnieu judo club, was an undeniable success! With the participation of more than 550 judokas from 15 different clubs, this event truly embodied sportsmanship and camaraderie. This was possible thanks to the 70 volunteers who worked tirelessly to guarantee the optimal running of this competition.
In this Olympic year, an idea emerged during the European Championships in Montpellier, and the office introduced a very popular new feature: the flag ceremony. Each judoka paraded with pride, displaying their club flag, symbolizing unity and pride in representing their community.
The atmosphere of this edition was both festive and serene, thanks to the contagious enthusiasm of the participants, parents and teachers. “We extend our most sincere congratulations to our judokas for their remarkable performances, having allowed our club to secure third place in the ranking, just behind the Balma and Union clubs.
Their determination and talent have been an inspiration to us all.”
