Juan Carlos Ferrero praises Jannik Sinner’s professionalism and progress ahead of Rafael Nadal exhibition

Present this weekend in Las Vegas while his player, Carlos Alcaraz, must face Rafael Nadal during an exhibition for Netflix this Sunday, March 3, Juan Carlos Ferrero gave an interview to our Spanish colleagues from Brand in which he discusses the enormous progress made by Jannik Sinner.

“Jannik Sinner is an example of professionalism in many ways. He is a player who has been pursuing his goals for two years, whatever they may be. Anything he thought he needed to improve on, he did. A few seasons ago, he played a lot of cross shots, few rounded shots, he went to the net less. He invested in increasing his repertoire of moves and his tactical level. You can see him hitting more drop shots, he’s naturally hitting shots along the line, his serve has also improved a lot: at first he was taking his momentum with both feet and now he’s letting one trail. These are signs that the team wants to see him improve and he is ready to do so. »
