Jordan Poole Leads Wizards to Third Straight Victory Over Bulls

CHICAGO (AP) — Jordan Poole finished with 23 points and the Washington Wizards won their third straight game, their best streak of the season, beating the Chicago Bulls 107-105 on Monday night.

Corey Kispert added 19 points and 12 rebounds. Marvin Bagley III scored 16 as the Wizards, owners of the second-worst record in the NBA, exacted revenge after last week’s loss in Chicago by 29 points.

DeMar DeRozan led Chicago with 27 points. Coby White scored 22 in the Bulls’ third straight loss.

Poole scored 10 points as Chicago took a 15-0 lead, although he was also quick to the wing with three fouls in just under five minutes of play.

The Wizards led by 16 early in the second quarter before Chicago pulled ahead in the third. Washington led 100-93 late in the game, but the Bulls scored six straight points and pulled within one with White laying up with 2:10 left.

Washington led by four when DeRozan scored in the final minute. The Wizards’ Justin Champagnie then made one of two free throws with 31 seconds left to make it 104-101.
