Jonathan’s message for Indonesian Men’s Singles after winning the All England 2024

KOMPAS.com – Jonatan Christie hopes that the Indonesian men’s singles team will continue to create new history after its success at All England 2024.

Jonatan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting made history as the first two Indonesian men’s singles to reach the All England final after 30 years.

The last time Indonesia created a Red and White duel in the All England final was in 1994 through Hariyanto Arbi and Ardi B Wiranata.

The All Indonesian finals took place again at All England 2024 on Sunday (17/3/2024) which brought together Jonathan and Ginting.

The duel which took place at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham, England ended with a score of 21-15, 21-14 in Jonathan’s favor.

Jonathan and Ginting’s achievements were recognized by their colleague, Christian Adinata, as a breath of fresh air and added motivation to the Indonesian men’s singles team

“Certainly for the men’s singles team, it is a breath of fresh air and adds other motivation when competing,” said Christian Adinata at the PBSI National Training Center, Wednesday (20/3/2024).

“I definitely want to show good (games) like Koh Jo and A Ginting,” added Christian Adinata.

All England 2024 is the title of Jonatan Christie’s BWF World Tour Super 1,000 tournament.
