Johannes Aigner also gets the Super-G ball

Johannes Aigner and guide Nico Haberl concluded his season by winning another crystal ball. After the Super-G in Sella Nevea (ITA) scheduled for Monday was canceled due to poor snow conditions, Aigner won this classification with a 60-point lead over Giacomo Bertagnolli (ITA).

Ultimately, in addition to three discipline balls (downhill, super-G and giant slalom), the 18-year-old can also hold the large crystal ball for the overall World Cup in his hands. “It was a brilliant end to the season. The change of guide went really well and we can be very proud and satisfied with ourselves and our performance.”

Guide Nico Haberl continued: “It was our first year together and if you look at it, it really fits perfectly. The only downside is that unfortunately we didn’t get the slalom ball.” On Sunday, Veronika Aigner and guide Elisabeth secured the small crystal ball in the giant slalom; they had also previously secured the slalom crystal.
