In California, someone stole eighteen thousand figurines with the likeness of hockey player Jaromir Jagr in a Pittsburgh jersey. Not only the police are dealing with the case, but Jágr himself took justice into his own hands, and set out to find the mannequins.
Pittsburgh hockey fans were already looking forward to figurines with a nodding head and the likeness of the legendary Jaromir Jagr. But an unknown perpetrator spoiled their joy.

“The Penguins announced that a shipment of Jagr ‘bobbleheads’ for today’s (Thursday’s) game was stolen en route to Pittsburgh. For that reason, they will not be given out at today’s match, but later.” said the team on the X social network.

The club’s marketing people supplied social networks with a presentation of a unique toy a few days in advance and were able to take advantage of unfortunate situations. The last figurine was locked in a safe by the president of the Pittsburgh store, Kevin Acklin, and he made a proper advertisement: “So 18 thousand of them were stolen, but you have one,” Jágr joked with the president of the store. “I’ll go put it back in the safe,” Acklin laughed.
The stolen container with the figures of the hockey legend is already being dealt with by the Californian police, who will also have a big helper. Happy sixty-eighth. “Strap in, honey. Let’s find your friends!” declares Jágr in a funny video in which he goes on the trail of figures.

Jágr is currently in the USA together with Kladno defender Jiří Ticháček, who received a trip overseas as a gift for his performances in this year’s extraleague season. And in Pittsburgh, he celebrated an interesting anniversary with the legend. On Thursday, it was exactly ten years since Jágr scored the thousandth goal in the NHL, KHL, Czech top competitions and the national team.
