Excellent results for the Italians in the great Lancaster classic staged this weekend.

There are many Italian archers who made their mark in the great indoor archery classic in Lancaster which took place this weekend. Among so many champions arriving from all over the world, for example, Marco Bruno’s performance stands out as he finishes the Open Pro race in third place behind only the Dutchman Mike Schloesser and the American host Bodie Turner

In the Men’s Open competition Mattia Vieceli breaks the American dominance by placing himself in fifth place in a ranking that sees the stars and stripes in all the first fifteen positions, Simone Barbieri does even better in the bare bow, third at the end of the competition only behind of the Canadian Huang and the Swede Jonsson. In the Women’s Open category, Irene Franchini placed tenth, while the Italian representation in the upper parts of the Olympic rankings is well-rounded with the new father Michele Frangilli splendid second behind Brady Ellison; Massimiliano Mandia is sixth and Marco Morello is seventh.

Among the women, Elisa Roner’s third place in the Women’s Open Pro stands out, with the Italian immediately placing herself behind Gellenthien and Gibson. Third place also in the Olympic for Chiara Rebagliati, on the last step of a podium also occupied by Lim and Schloesser. Closing at the foot of the podium in the bare bow was Elisa Medico, who with her fourth place stopped one step away from the medal.
