Student from Italy is enthusiastic about Muay Thai

Kirchvers, 22.03.24 – Since January it has been taking place at Kampfsport-Kirchvers e. V. also intercultural exchange instead of. Luca, 25, comes from a small village near Venice and is currently working on his doctorate at the University of Marburg.

In addition to sporting experience in fencing and judo, he is now also enthusiastic about martial arts. “I was warmly welcomed into the club and am now part of the martial arts family. Roman Butz trains the athletes with great passion and inspires me more and more for this national sport from Thailand. The atmosphere here in the gym is great and the trainer is very patient with beginners.”says Luca with a smile on his face.

“Sport brings people together and it is a good opportunity for social interaction for all our members. This is how friendships are created that reach far beyond borders.” so Roman Butz.

Even though Luca comes from the land of lovers, connoisseurs and athletes, he lacks nothing here. He is only plagued by a little homesickness, which is quickly forgotten in the company of the martial arts family.

“The adventure ends for me in May, because then I will return to Italy.
