Only today the Phoenix Suns made Isaiah Thomas’ return to the franchise official. Eleven years after his first adventure in Arizona, the two-time NBA All-Star returns with a ten-year contract. The Suns will be able to decide to extend him with a second ten-year deal at the end of the first or sign him for the rest of the season. He will wear the number 4 shirt, and not the 3 that he wore in the 2014/15 season with the Suns.
Thomas had been trying to get back to the NBA for some time. He recently signed for the Salt Lake City Stars in the NBA GLeague: in 4 games with the Jazz-affiliated franchise he averaged 33 points per game with 45% three-pointers (32, 30, 34 and 34 points on his personal scoresheet in the four matches)
