International Judo Competitions and Training Opportunities in Haute-Marne

This Friday, Mélanie Legoux-Clément is hired by the Marnaval/Saint-Dizier 52 club, for the Grand Slam in Tbilisi, Georgia. She will participate, the following week, in Antalya, Turkey. It is a return to the international scene to find its bearings after its title of champion of France 1st division, in November, knowing that, behind it, there may be, depending on its results, a possible selection for the championships of the world which will take place in May. Beyond the fiftieth place in the world, the Marnavalaise is not seeded.

Mini French Cup

This weekend, in Villebon-sur-Yvette, the French junior cup is taking place, where three Haut-Marnais are qualified: Gustave Coquin (-50 kg), Dorian Carpentier (+73 kg), both from the technical school of the Marnaval/Saint-Dizier 52 Judo club. A medal is possible with Dorian, given that he ranked throughout the first quarter in all nationally labeled tournaments and even 3rd at the international tournament in Eindhoven . They are accompanied by another Haut-Marnaise from the Langres Vingeannes Judo club, Emma Laurency (+63 kg). Two Marnavalais cadets are also qualified for this national competition, as part of the young official, namely as sports commissioner, Luka Champion, and as referee, Emma Gozillon.
