Intense Competition at the FIARC Italian Archery Championship on Titan

On Titan it’s starting to get serious with the FIARC Italian Archery Championship. Over 400 archers – divided into the two competition fields at Multieventi and PalaCasadei – battled for the first of the two qualifying days, in view of the final scheduled for Sunday and to which the top 6 in each category will advance. In the recurve, Mario Taufer leads in the men’s with 398 points and Franca Grifoni in the women’s with 340, in the longbow momentary first place goes to Alfredo Dondi and Sonia Picco. We continue with the Historical Arch where, after the first commercials, Andrea Reggiani is ahead of everyone in the men’s and Simona Malaguti in the women’s. The Arco Nudo currently sees Paolo Buonaiuti at the top with 404 points and the San Marino archer Denis Pedrelli following with 394. Among the women, Patrizia Dadda has several points ahead of her direct pursuers. Among the various disciplines, she closes the compound freestyle with a good fight in the men’s which is rewarding Fabio Diano while in the women’s Paola Valotti, thanks to her 542 points, is very close to the final.

The performances of the biancazzurri are also good: in addition to the aforementioned Pedrelli in the final zone there is also Alessia Staccoli – fourth in the recurve – while Marco Lazzari in the historical bow and Renato Osella in the longbow need a few more points to return to the top 6. Also good in the youth categories: in the puppies Nathan Pedrelli is fifth, Cristian Chiaruzzi seventh.
