Initiation Schools Open in Hidalgo to Cultivate Judo Talent

PACHUCA DE SOTO, MAR 27 /NEWS HIDALGO/.- The Hidalgo Judoka Association, led by President Verónica Pasten, reported that the Mexican Revolution Sports Complex (CDRM) and the municipality of Omitlán, will be the headquarters where the initiation schools will open with the objective of beginning the search for a seedbed that nourishes at high performance.

Nabor Castillo, former Olympic athlete and former national team, will return home to promote Hidalgo judo, becoming responsible for the initiation school in Omitlán, together with the Municipal Sports Council (COMUDE) and the association, they will develop for the sport .

For his part, coach Víctor Anaya Ordaz will become the head of the school at the Mexican Revolution Complex, where training will take place from Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Verónica Pasten reported that they are waiting for the grand opening of the sports project, in addition to announcing that the association made alliances with a school in the municipality of Zempoala, where they will work together with the Hidalgo native and former National selection Karla Tapia, to start the search for sports talents.

Likewise, the possible opening of a school in Real del Monte was indicated, where they will seek to promote judo again.
