With 17 goals conceded and three defeats, the Grizzlys Wolfsburg are already on the verge of elimination. The Lower Saxony team have shown good thirds in all duels so far, but have not been able to confirm this performance for over 60 minutes. Now the Grizzlys need an ice hockey miracle to make it to the semi-finals: no team in DEL history has ever managed to turn around a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs.

Three games, three wins – that’s EHC Red Bull Munich’s perfect result so far in the quarter-final duel with Grizzlys Wolfsburg. After the 4-3 win in Wolfsburg last Friday, the Munich team has four match pucks on hand to get the final and decisive fourth victory. If Patrick Hager has his way, the decision should, at best, be made today: “We want to use the opportunity at home to make everything clear,” said Hager.
