This would be the story that, on the day of the return match of the Europa League round of 16 between Brighton and Roma, throws the Giallorossi club into the eye of the storm. On Instagram, a few minutes after the start of the match yesterday, the comments were all focused on this story, on the dismissal of the woman and her partner, considered illegitimate by fans and others, and on the “revenge porn” of which the thirty-year-old, although not having still formalized a complaint, she would have remained a victim. Precisely from the company, which reserves the right to officially comment on the matter at a later time, a position is leaked, namely that according to which the employee and her partner would have both been fired not for the intimate video, but because they would have behaved ethically contrary to the internal regulations inside the Trigoria boarding school. The matter is now in the hands of lawyers, but both the young woman and her boyfriend have been without work since mid-November. It was the woman herself who wrote a post on her Facebook profile in mid-November: «The dogs celebrate on the corpses of the lions, believing they have won. But lions remain lions and dogs remain dogs. Hello dogs. See you soon”. It would appear that since then mediations have been initiated between the parties with a view to possible reinstatement which, however, has not yet arrived. However, the facts that could have criminal relevance continue on another track: a private video, which portrayed the woman in intimate attitudes with her boyfriend, was in fact stolen and sent to a currently unquantified number of people, including promising young people and company executives. For now, no measures of any kind have been taken regarding the promising young player – a foreign player. According to the reconstruction, he is the one who illegitimately appropriated the video, then disseminated it via social media and via instant messaging systems to teammates, coaches, technicians and some managers. But as mentioned, the player is still “on the pitch”.
