Setter GS Caltex Kim Ji Won did not dare to boast of targeting his opponent’s victory Red Sparks when the two teams dueled in the fourth match of the sixth round of the Korean Volleyball League, Thursday (7/3).

GS Caltex again played a match that was not easy in hunting for a place in the Korean Volleyball League playoffs because they had to travel to the Red Sparks headquarters at Chungmu Gymnasium.

The setback experienced by GS Caltex in the fifth round made the players depressed. One of them is Kim Ji Won who lacks confidence in winning over Red Sparks.

“I won’t think too much about winning against Jung Kwan Jang on Thursday,” said Kim Ji Won as quoted by Sportsworldi.

“If you feel pressured, you won’t be able to do it [memberikan yang terbaik],” said Kim Ji Won added.

In order to avoid the pressure of wanting to win, the 22 year old player chose to enjoy the game against the Red Sparks.

“I prefer to play with the mindset that we have to enjoy each other, and just do what we have to do,” said Kim Ji Won.

“I hope I can focus in training and play well in matches,” Kim continued.

Red Sparks’ situation is the opposite of GS Caltex. Lee So Young and friends achieved six consecutive wins this season.

This match is crucial for Red Sparks and GS Caltex. The Red Sparks need just one point to guarantee a spot in the Korean Volleyball League playoffs.

Even though it only takes one point, it is believed that Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi cs does not want to be embarrassed by GS Caltex. Meanwhile, GS Caltex still needs a win to qualify for the playoffs in the remaining matches this season.
