Lieshout – Badminton Club Lieshout finds involvement important. For that reason, the parents of the youth groups were also able to get acquainted with the sport of badminton. During that introduction, they – together with their child – were able to play against other parents-with-child. This means they know better what badminton means for their child and they are also put to work themselves.
Sports important
Badminton Club Lieshout believes it is important to work more on health and sports is a good option for this. In order to introduce everyone to the sport of badminton, the association organizes a number of drop-in days at the start of each season. They also organize a parent-child tournament in the spring, where the parents of the youth members can become acquainted with the sport of badminton. At the beginning of this season they also organized a complete beginners course, with which they have taken several initiatives to get residents into sports (badminton).
King’s games
The association is also working in other ways to get both older and younger residents to participate in sports. The association will be present at the next King’s Games on April 19. By participating in the sports morning, Lieshout youth can easily become acquainted with the fastest indoor sport in the world. The association already has a number of volunteers ready to fill in this morning.
For young and old
The association will also make an appearance again on the Laarbeek roefel day (this year on June 8, 2024). The youth can also become acquainted with the sport of badminton in general and Badminton Club Lieshout in particular. Last week, however, it was the parents’ turn to get acquainted with their child’s sport. Under the guidance of the youth guidance, they did all kinds of exercises and of course also played a game. Just like a youth play evening, this also ended with a fun game around the table, which meant that parents had to push hard to stay ahead of the children.
