German NBA star is approaching playoffs

The New York Knicks claim fourth place ahead of the Orlando Magic with a win over Philadelphia. The Wagner brothers’ club retains its successful coach.

The New York Knicks around German center Isaiah Hartenstein have consolidated their playoff position in the NBA professional basketball league. The team from the Big Apple celebrated a 106:79 (59:41) victory against the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden.

Josh Hart shone with a triple-double of 20 points, 19 rebounds and ten assists, Hartenstein contributed six points and five rebounds.

With the win, the Knicks maintain fourth place in the Eastern Conference ahead of the Orlando Magic. The team of world champion brothers Franz and Moritz Wagner is one game behind and as things stand, there would be a direct duel in the playoffs.

Due to the success, Orlando extended the contract with coach Jamahl Mosley by four years until 2028.

Theis loses without a superstar
