Victor Wembanyama put in another brilliant performance.

With 28 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks, the French prodigy played a key role in the San Antonio Spur’s 132:118 defeat of the Oklahoma City Thunder and the end of the five-game losing streak.

The Spurs remain at the bottom of the Western Conference, while the Oklahoma City Thunder are in second place in the West.

Miami Heat @ Denver Nuggets 97:103

In the first meeting since the NBA Finals in June, the Denver Nuggets were able to beat the Miami Heat again.

Michael Porter Jr. led the scoring with 30 points and also contributed 11 rebounds and three assists to the Nuggets’ win. Nikola Jokic contributed 18 points, eleven rebounds and seven assists and was therefore unable to extend his series of four triple doubles in a row.

The third-ranked Nuggets celebrated their fifth win in a row, Miami is eighth in the East in the race for the playoffs.

In an overtime thriller, the Los Angeles Lakers inflicted their 13th defeat in a row on the Washington Wizards.

Anthony Davis was the man of the game with 40 points and 15 rebounds, but LeBron James also shone with 31 points – including an important three-pointer in overtime. For the Wizards, Jordan Poole impressed with 34 points.

The Lakers confirm the recent upward trend and are in ninth place in the West, while the Wizards have the worst record in the league with just 9 wins and a whopping 50 losses.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Charlotte Hornets 111:99

Fourth win in a row for the Milwaukee Bucks: Against the Hornets, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 24 points and 10 rebounds were enough to lead his team to success.

The next best Bucks scorer was Malik Beasley, who collected 19 points and sank a total of five three-pointers. Brandon Miller scored 21 points for the Hornets.

Houston Rockets @ Phoenix Suns 105:110

A strong performance from star duo Devin Booker and Kevin Durant helped the Phoenix Suns win over the Houston Rockets.

Booker shone with 35 points, 20 of which he scored in the first quarter alone. KD, on the other hand, scored 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Houston’s Jalen Green impressed with 34 points.
