Gattoni’s Troubleshooting Role at Anderlecht: Comparing to Past Defenders

Federico Gattoni knew it before signing for Anderlecht: given the presence of the Vertonghen – Debast duo, he would only be a troubleshooter. Bad luck for him: Vertonghen received a yellow card in Bruges for missing a small match – against Eupen – in which the central defenders would not have much work.
