Luka Adzic has not left a lasting impression at Anderlecht. But since returning to play in Serbia, the left winger has been in top form.
Luka Adzic arrived at Anderlecht in 2018, which bought him from Red Star Belgrade for 800,000 euros. It’s safe to say this hasn’t been a success. The Serbian was on the field only six times for the Purple & White.
In 2021, Adzic left for PEC Zwolle for free. Without much success in the Eredivisie, he returned to Serbia in 2022. FK Cukaricki (opponent of KRC Genk in the Conference League earlier this year) took him over on a free transfer.
This season, Luka Adzic has regained his confidence. He scored 4 goals and provided 6 assists in 22 games in the Serbian league. Now he even managed to score two in one match… from the corner flag.
Although the opposing goalkeeper can be blamed for some things, his performance still deserved praise. Ultimately the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
💣 TWO DIRECT CORNERS IN ONE MATCH?!
Yes yes. Luka Adzić struck lightning with Čukarički against Spartak Subotica. 🤍
