On the night of Saturday March 9 to Sunday March 10, all eyes of combat sports fans were focused on the UFC duel between the Frenchman Benoît Saint-Denis and the American Dustin Poirier, in Miami, in the United States.

Closer to home, and a few hours earlier, combat sports were also in the spotlight, with a new gala organized by the Sérifontaine English boxing club (Oise), the second of the season.

This Saturday, March 9, at the Bernard Leduc gymnasium, several fights took place throughout the evening. Alicia Le Scornet won before the locals Tim and Lenny were defeated.

Victory against a Hungarian boxer

The big fight of the evening was to be between the Sérifontainois Sohan Chaibi, four victories in as many fights, and Jordan Gonzalez. Unfortunately, Sohan Chaïbi’s opponent withdrew a few days before the fight. He was replaced at short notice by a Hungarian boxer counting two victories in four fights.

In the ring, there was no photo between the two 65 kg boxers. The Frenchman won by a wide margin, the referee having stopped the fight in the third round. Sohan Chaïbi therefore still remains undefeated.
