The new regional Judo champion in the 66 kg under 15 category is Francesco Spano of Kan Judo Olbia.
The Olbia judoka of Kan Judo Olbia, Francesco Spano And 2024 regional Judo champion in the Under 15 category, – 66kg. The very young athlete from Olbia is one of the most promising profiles of Angelo Calvisi’s team for the near future. And the path taken by the Kan Judo judoca as a winning athlete is clear. Spano was, in fact, already the regional champion of the Rookie A category. He was also the winner of the Sardinian “Grand Prix” in 2022.
The race that crowned Spano regional champion 2024 took place in recent days in Oristano, where the best Sardinian Fijlkam athletes in the category competed on the two tatamis set up. Spano will soon be involved in qualifiers for the national final for Debutants B under 15which will take place in Ostia.
The team, historically led by the 5’dan master Angelo Calvisiexpressed great satisfaction with the performances of the young athlete and with the results of the entire team, which boasts a very large youth sector and the presence of some competitive athletes of regional and national importance.
